Gators Online Show: Florida-FSU preview with Ira Schoffel
Welcome to the Gators Online Show! For episode 72, co-hosts Zach Abolverdi and Nick de la Torre preview the Florida-FSU game on Saturday night in The Swamp.
We open the show breaking down the matchup with Ira Schoffel of Warchant.com. He discusses Florida State’s turnaround under Mike Norvell, how this season has played out and where the Seminoles go from here after losing starting quarterback Jordan Travis to a leg injury.
FSU redshirt junior quarterback Tate Rodemaker will make his second career start against the Gators, and Schoffel details what to expect from the pro-style passer and how the offense will change with him behind center.
Saturday will be Senior Day and we discuss the players who will participating in the pregame ceremony. The list includes 12 scholarship players, and some of them include fourth- and fifth-year juniors with eligibility remaining.
We wrap up the show by previewing Saturday’s game between the Gators and Seminoles, who are ranked No. 5 in the CFB Playoff poll with an undefeated this season under Norvell.
We share our keys to the game, players to watch and what it will take for the Gators to get an upset at home as 6.5-point underdogs in their final game of the regular season.
