Gators Online Show: Florida vs. Miami preview with CaneSport.com
Welcome to the Gators Online Show! For episode 102, co-hosts Zach Abolverdi and Nick de la Torre are joined by Gary Ferman, the publisher of CaneSport.com on the On3 Network.
The Florida football team opens the 2024 season on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. against No. 19 Miami, hosting the rival Hurricanes for the first time in 16 years.
We open the show with our reaction to UF’s Week 1 depth chart, which included senior running back Montrell Johnson Jr. back in the starting lineup and redshirt junior Kamryn Waites starting at right tackle.
Ferman then joins the show to preview the Florida-Miami game. We break down the top storylines to follow, players to watch on both sides of the ball and more.
After the interview, we share our keys to the game for the Gators to come out victorious, which would snap a five-game losing streak dating back to 2023.
