Welcome to the Gators Online Show! For episode 114, I’m joined by GO’s Keith Niebur to discuss Florida’s interview for its coaching vacancy, transfer QB Harrison Bailey signing with UF and more.
We open the show with the news first reported by Gators Online on Friday: Jacksonville State defensive coordinator Vinnie Sunseri is interviewing with Florida for its open spot on the staff.
We discuss the potential hiring of Sunseri as well as the possibly of former Tulsa offensive coordinator Steve Spurrier Jr. — son of the HBC — joining Billy Napier’s coaching staff as an analyst.
We then break down the late portal addition of Louisville transfer Harrison Bailey and what it means for the Gators, starter DJ Lagway and Florida’s quarterback room moving forward.
We wrap up the show by recapping the 70-69 comeback win at South Carolina on Wednesday and previewing Saturday’s matchup against Georgia and former UF coach Mike White.
