Gators Online Show: Interview with Florida AD Scott Stricklin
Welcome to the Gators Online Show! For episode 77, co-hosts Zach Abolverdi and Nick de la Torre have an exclusive interview with Florida athletic director Scott Stricklin.
We open the show with Stricklin discussing the state of the football program after three straight losing seasons and missing a bowl game for the first time since 2017.
He evaluates UF coach Billy Napier, his staff hires this offseason, Florida’s personnel and 2024 class and what has him encouraged about the current football roster.
We then cover a number of topics with Stricklin, including name, image and likeness, stadium renovations, the Florida-Georgia game and the AD opening at Texas A&M.
Stricklin also assesses the UF athletics program as a whole, his thoughts on the 2023-24 men’s basketball team and looks ahead to the 2024 baseball season.
