Welcome to the Gators Online Show! For episode 101, co-hosts Zach Abolverdi and Nick de la Torre are joined by ESPN’s Laura Rutledge, who hosts SEC Nation on SEC Network.

Rutledge previews the 2024 season and Florida’s opener against rival Miami on Aug. 31. SEC Nation will be in Gainesville for the game at The Plaza of The Americas from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Rutledge will host the show for her eighth season, her ninth on the show overall, joined by Gator great Tim Tebow, Paul Finebaum, Jordan Rodgers and Roman Harper.

Florida has hosted SEC Nation 11 times previously, including six times in Gainesville, since the show first aired in 2014. The show most recently came to Gainesville on September 18, 2021, when the No. 11 Gators hosted No. 1 Alabama in the Swamp.

SEC Nation was also in attendance when the Gators last faced Miami, as the show traveled to Camping World Stadium in Orlando for the teams’ 2019 matchup.

After our interview Rutledge, we discuss the latest from fall training camp and look ahead to Florida’s second scrimmage on Saturday.
