Gators 'up there' for elite Chaminade-Madonna Prep receiver Jabari Brady
HOLLYWOOD, FLORIDA — Elite 2026 receiver Jabari Brady had coaches from several notable college programs watching him at practice this week.
And it’s not a surprise.
Brady, a standout at Chaminade-Madonna Prep, is the No. 4 receiver and No. 22 overall recruit nationally according to the On3 Industry Rankings.
Early on, the Florida Gators seem to have made a good impression on him.
“It’s been good — talking to Coach (David) Doeker and Coach (Billy) Gonzales,” Brady said. “They’re showing a lot of love.”
Last season, Brady had 43 catches for 864 yards at Coconut Creek (Fla.) Monarch. He transferred to Chaminade-Madonna after the season.
Jabari Brady checked out UF earlier this year
Brady, listed at 6-foot-2 and 190 pounds, visited Florida earlier this year.
“The best part was like the coaches showing me love, Coach Gonzales,” Brady said. “(Them) showing me around the school, showing me the academics and stuff, which was good.”
Of the Gators, he added, “They’re up there for sure. They’re showing a lot of love. Showing my mom a lot of love. They treat us good.”

Brady seemed impressed by the fact Florida receiver Ricky Pearsall was a first-round selection.
“Their development, it shows me they do good with like especially Ricky,” Brady said. “And No. 3 (Eugene Wilson). He’s only a freshman and he’s doing good over there. Their development shows me a lot.”
According to Brady, a return trip to Gainesville ”could be soon.”
After mentioning that Florida was high in his recruitment, Brady said that, although he has no official leaders, Florida State, Ohio State and Penn State also were major players for him. The Seminoles and Buckeyes watched him practice Thursday — the same day Florida’s Gonzales was there.
“I really don’t know who stands out right now,” Brady said.
Ohio State co-offensive coordinator and receivers coach Brian Hartline was at Chaminade-Madonna on Thursday. So was Chaminade-Madonna grad Jeremiah Smith, the touted Ohio State freshman receiver. According to Brady, Smith “lets me do my own thing.” That said, the Buckeyes are the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine favorites.
Hartline being at practice Thursday impressed Brady, he said.
Brady does not yet have any summer visits mapped out, but likely will check out the above schools and more.
“I should be communicating with the coaches and my mom and get that figured out (soon),” he said.
