The Florida Gators track and field program swept the NCAA Outdoor National Championships on Saturday as the women’s team captured the first outdoor title in school history.

It marks the second championship this year for the women’s track and field team, which won the indoor title in March, and the third national championship for Mike Holloway’s program in 2022.

Holloway has now won 12 titles at Florida: five men’s indoors, five men’s outdoors, one women’s indoor (2022) and one women’s outdoor (2022). The Gators claimed 11 individual titles this year.

After winning the NCAA Outdoor Championship in the Long Jump on Friday, Jasmine Moore won first place Saturday in the Triple Jump. Moore becomes the first woman in NCAA history to go 8-for-8 on titles (four conference, four national) in the horizonal jumps in the same calendar year.

Anna Hall won the NCAA Outdoor Champion in the Heptathlon and added a second-place finish in the 400-meter hurdles. Talitha Diggs took home the 400-meter win with a 49.99.

The Gators secured their first-ever team title even before the 4×400, scoring 74 total points. Texas finished 10 points behind Florida and Kentucky came in third with 50 team points.

With the UF men’s track and field team winning the title Friday, this is the first time since 2015 (Oregon) that both squads have swept the outdoor national championships.
