For the first time since 2016, the Gators women’s basketball team has cracked the Top 25 following four wins over ranked teams in its past five games.

Florida debuted at No. 19 in the latest Associated Press poll Monday. UF vaulted into the rankings after an 84-59 blowout win over then-No. 7 Tennessee last Wednesday and a 54-51 victory at No. 14 Georgia on Sunday.

Interim coach Kelly Rae Finley and the Gators have won seven of their last eight games, including upsets over No. 25 Texas A&M, No. 23 Kentucky and No. 11 LSU. Their lone loss came against top-ranked South Carolina.
