Georgia-based WR Josiah Abdullah commits to Gators
Commitment No. 2 is in for Billy Napier and the Florida Gators.
Josiah Abdullah, a 3-star wide receiver from Atlanta (Ga.) Woodward Academy, just announced his commitment to the SEC program. He was in Gainesville for Saturday’s junior day.
The 2025 prospect spoke with On3’s Hayes Fawcett about his decision:
“Florida has a great legacy of producing amazing legendary players. I will go to the NFL. By committing to Florida, that puts me in the best position for success in achieving my goals of getting there,” Abdullah told On3.
“It feels like home and it is not too far from home while not being too close at the same time. It’s a perfect in between.
“The coaches, head coach Billy Napier, (wide receivers coach) Billy Gonzales and (assistant wide receivers) coach David Doeker are very experienced and they do an amazing job at producing great WRs, especially with all three of them being receiver-focused coaches.”
