Ja'Quavion Fraziars won't play against South Carolina
GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Florida will be without receiver Ja’Quavion Fraziars this week when they host the South Carolina Gamecocks. Fraziars was listed as “OUT” on Florida’s depth chart this week.
“He’s got a pretty signifigant shoulder (injury),” Napier said on Wednesday night. “He’s out.”
Caleb Douglas, who caught a touchdown against Texas A&M, and Khaliel Jackson were listed as the new backups to Justin Shorter. Shorter, who will walk for senior day, is still listed as questionable with a lower body injury.
The sophomore receiver hauled in four passes for 50 yards and a touchdown against the Aggies. The four receptions were the first for Fraziards this season. In three years at Florida, he has 10 total receptions for 89 yards and three touchdowns.
Sources have told Gators Online that Fraziar’s injury is likely to keep him out for more than one game.

Fraziars had appeared in 28 consecutive games for the Gators dating back to 2020.
Fraziars with a career game against Texas A&M
Starting receiver Justin Shorter missed the Texas A&M game with an injury. That allowed Fraziars to earn his first career start. The Dunnellon High School

He’s a great teammate,” Napier said last Saturday. “Everybody in academics, nutrition, strength/conditioning, you can’t find a person that wouldn’t say, ‘Hey, that guy’s a great human being.’ He works, he does it the right way.
