Jason Marshall Jr. injury update: Florida Gators CB out for the season
GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Florida starting cornerback Jason Marshall Jr. is out for the season with a shoulder injury, Gators Online has learned. Marshall hurt his labrum and will require surgery.
The senior cornerback was injured during the homecoming game against Kentucky and did not return. He started all seven games this season and has been a four-year starter at UF.
Marshall recorded 13 tackles, four pass breakups and a forced fumble in 2024 prior to his injury. He has 98 tackles, 26 pass breakups two interceptions and a sack in his career.
With Marshall out, Florida will turn to sophomore cornerback Dijon Johnson in the starting lineup with junior Devin Moore, and sophomore CB Cormani McClain will also play.
