Kickoff time announced for Florida Gators and Texas A&M
GAINESVILLE, Fla. — The Florida Gators have played seven games in 2022 but have only left Gainesville once this year. Their second true road game of the season will be in College Station on November 5, at noon (11 am local). The game will be broadcast on ESPN.
Florida and Texas A&M have played five times in their history. The Aggies hold a 3-2 advantage in the series. This will also be the Gators’ third trip to College Station since A&M joined the SEC. Florida traveled to College Station in A&M’s inaugural SEC season in 2012, beating the Aggies and future Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel.

Texas A&M is struggling in Jimbo Fisher’s fifth season. The Aggies are 3-4 (1-3 SEC) and Fisher’s offense is last in the SEC in scoring (21.9 ppg). There has been unrest in the fanbase, with some calling for Fisher’s job. However, Fisher signed a fully guaranteed contract extension on Sept. 1, 2021, that will pay him $95 million through 2031. If Texas A&M fires Fisher after the 2022 season, boosters would need to pony up nearly $86 million.
Texas A&M will host No. 15 Ole Miss this weekend. The Gators will travel to Jacksonville to play No. 1 Georgia for the 100th edition of the rivalry.
