GAINESVILLE, Fla. — The No. 5 Florida Gators got back in the win column Saturday with an 84-60 victory over Texas. UF built a double-digit lead in the first half with a 15-0 run and closed out the game with a 23-6 stretch over the last 7:59.

“Just really happy and proud of our team. I thought our players did a great job tonight answering the challenge,” Florida coach Todd Golden said afterward. “For us to win the game the way we did, and to extend it and win by 24 was a great statement coming back off Tuesday night.”

Below are live updates between the Gators (16-2, 3-2 SEC) and Longhorns (12-6, 1-4 SEC).
