Swamped! Texas A&M beats Florida 33-20
GAINESVILLE, FLORIDA — The Florida Gators badly needed a win Saturday at The Swamp. So did coach Billy Napier. It didn’t happen.
Final: Texas A&M 33, Florida 20.
It wasn’t as close as the score. The Aggies (2-1) led 20-0 at the half and cruised from there. They gained 488 yards to 301 for the Gators (1-2). Most of Florida’s offensive production came after Texas A&M had built a fairly comfortable lead.
Aggies quarterback Marcell Reed threw for 178 yards and two touchdowns. The Aggies rushed for a staggering 310 yards, led by the 110-yard effort of Le’Veon Moss.
Below is a quarter-by-quarter recap of what transpired.
