A six-game winning streak by No. 3 Florida was snapped Tuesday in an 88-83 loss at Georgia, which beat UF for the first time in 13 meetings.

The Gators (24-4, 11-4 SEC) rallied from a 26-point first-half deficit and took their first lead of the game, 79-78, on a 13-0 run with just over a minute left, but UGA (17-11, 5-10 SEC) answered with eight straight points to pull off the upset.

Florida battled back behind Will Richard’s career-high 30 points and 15 second-half points from Walter Clayton Jr. (18 total). But the Gators’ struggles at the line (18-for-29) came back to bite them as UGA hit 22 of 27 free throws.

Silas Demary Jr. scored a team-high 21 points for Georgia, which shot 54% from the floor (28-for-52) and 56% beyond the arc (10-for-18). The Gators finished at 41% shooting (27-for-66) and 34% from downtown (11-for-32).

Below are live updates from the Florida-Georgia game.
