Live Blog: No. 8 Florida Gators 71, Arkansas Razorbacks 63
After hosting the Hogs last season, the No. 8 Florida Gators are looking their first road win in SEC play Saturday at Arkansas. The Gators (14-1, 1-1 SEC) are a 5.5-point favorite against the Razorbacks (11-4, 0-2 SEC).
Saturday marks the 26th meeting between Florida and Arkansas. UF leads the all-time series 34-25 with a 27-15 record at home and a 7-10 mark on the road, including a two-game series skid in Fayetteville.

The Gators responded to Arkansas’ 7-0 run with one of their own and then Alijah Martin’s fourth 3-pointer matched their biggest lead of the game (11). Martin has a team-high 14 points but just fouled out. Arkansas hasn’t scored in 2:28 and has missed 13 layups and nine free throws so far.

Will Richard is now in double figures with 11 points, tied for the tied high, with 10 coming in the second half on 4-for-5 shooting with a steal. Alijah Martin also has 11 points for the game.

Will Richard (6 points) and Walter Clayton Jr. (4) have 10 combined points this half. Richard hits his first 3-pointer of the game off a great feed from Clayton, giving the Gators an 11-point lead and forcing John Calipari to take a 30-second timeout.

The Gators have their largest lead of the game, and the Hogs have yet to make a field goal in the second half. Alijah Martin is up to 11 points after his third 3-pointer, scoring in double figures for the fourth straight game.

Fewest scored in a half by both teams this season as UF shot 31% (3-for-16 from 3) and the Hogs shot 29% (1-for-7 from 3). Alijah Martin leads the Gators with 8 points and Thomas Haugh has a team-high seven rebounds, four on the offensive glass.
Florida is winning the rebounding battle 28-19, including a 12-6 advantage with the offensive boards and 12 second chance points to just two for the Razorbacks. The Gators also own a 16-8 scoring edge with points in the paint.
