With 30 new players on the roster, the team on the field this next month will look vastly different than the Gators you watched last season.

“I don’t know that I’ve ever been a part of a situation like that. We’ve also added five new walk-ons so 32 new players. We’re training 105 players right now which is a big number,” Billy Napier said. “We’re right in the middle of the third week of the first phase and we start phase two next week. Huge, can’t say enough about Bird and Chase and the work they put in to build in the portal. We talked about the team effort in recruiting back in December so it’s been good. It’s a little bit different energy in the building.”

Gators at New positions
