About GatorMade in South Africa

During the 10-day trip to Cape Town, the Gators traveled 7,888 miles for their service abroad mission and volunteered 500-plus cumulative service hours in South Africa. One of the projects they worked on was constructing water tanks for the Lavender Hill youth through ‘For The Love of Water’ (FLOW), a non-profit organization.

Etienne experienced a special moment at Lavender Hill with Mark Nicholson, the RAD youth empowerment and community liaison officer. Hill has run the Lavender Hill Football Club (LHFC) for the last 15 years, training numerous youth within the community.
