Photos from the Florida Gators' service abroad trip to South Africa
The GatorMade program has completed its second service abroad mission, taking 13 Florida football players a 10-day trip in Cape Town, South Africa. Last summer, GatorMade brought 16 UF athletes — including 10 football players — to Greece for 10 days.
The Gators who went to Cape Town were running back Trevor Etienne, center Kingsley Eguakun, wide receiver Aidan Mizell, defensive linemen Chris McClellan and Tyreak Sapp, defensive backs Devin Moore, Jaydon Hill and Ja’Markis Weston, outside linebacker Princely Umanmielen and inside linebackers Teradja Mitchell, Derek Wingo, Scooby Williams and Justin Pelic.
Joining the 13 players in South Africa was senior director of GatorMade and player relations Savannah Bailey, football Business Manager and GatorMade coordinator Diane Lebon, associate director of digital strategy Tamsyn Stonebarger, and assistant for college personnel and on-campus recruiting Chase Clark.
Below are photos and a couple videos from the trip. Unless noted, the photos were taken by Stonebarger.
