Report: Colin Castleton status updated ahead of Ole Miss game
Florida center Colin Castleton is listed as a game-time decision with his lingering shoulder injury for Saturday’s game against Ole Miss, according to CBS Sports’ Jon Rothstein. He will participate in pregame warmups and be evaluated before tip-off.
The 6-foot-11 starter, who has not played since Jan. 15 against South Carolina, is currently averaging 15.4 points and 9.1 rebounds while shooting 53.6 percent from the field.
Colin Castleton suffered the shoulder injury in practice leading up to the Florida vs LSU game but managed to play through the pain against the Tigers and in the following game against South Carolina. He has since missed six straight games, in which Florida has gone 4-2.
One of the two losses without Castleton came one the road against Ole Miss. The Rebels took the contest 70-54 despite 12 points from replacement center Jason Jitoboh.

Announcement on Florida vs. Missouri
Men’s college basketball has had its share of postponements and canceled games this season. And on Tuesday, the Missouri Tigers men’s basketball team made an announcement about their upcoming matchup against SEC East rival the Florida Gators.
According to the teams’ Twitter account, Wednesday, Feb. 2, the game against the Gators will have a start time bumped up to 2:00 PM CT. The game was originally scheduled to be played at 8:00 PM CT. However, due to the possible effects of the upcoming winter storm, the two teams have agreed to play the game earlier in the day. Aside from that, everything else will go on as scheduled. The game will be played from the Tigers’ home arena in Columbia, MO, and will still be broadcasted on the SEC Network.
