GAINESVILLE, Fla. — More than 80 personnel from around the NFL descended on the Florida Gators indoor practice facility Thursday afternoon. Admittedly, it was Anthony Richardson that brought a lot of eyes to Gainesville but nine other Florida Gators had the opportunity to work out in front of all 32 NFL teams.

“It’s one of the more gratifying things as a coach to see young people work extremely hard and have opportunities. Got a lot of important people in the building today that are a product of their hard work,” Billy Napier said during the event. “They’ve done things the right way on the field, off the field and certainly hopeful that they can create some momentum as we approach the draft.”

This was the first opportunity for Amari Burney to work out in front of NFL scouts, coaches, and general managers since the East-West Shrine Bowl. Burney enrolled at Florida as a safety but made the move to linebacker. On Thursday he worked out with the defensive backs during position drills. He posted a 4.55 (unofficial) 40-yard dash time, which would project well for a safety at the next level.

Richardson chose to sit mostly on his NFL Combine numbers. The former Florida quarterback stole the show at the combine, so resting on those numbers was an easy call. Richardson did choose to throw on Thursday, displaying his elite arm talent.

Here is how the Gators who competed at Pro Day performed.
