SEC announces kickoff time and network for Florida-LSU game
On Monday afternoon, the Southeastern Conference announced that Florida’s Oct. 15 matchup against LSU will kick into gear at 7:00 p.m. EST and air on ESPN. The game was announced as a sellout on Aug. 31.
The Gators last hosted LSU in 2020 and suffered an emotional loss by the score of 37-34. Florida was ranked No. 6 at the time and lost on a 57-yard field goal to a Tigers squad that only traveled with 54 players on scholarship. There was plenty of additional drama inside the Swamp that evening as well.
With Brian Kelly now running the show in Baton Rouge, the Tigers check in with a 4-1 record, including a 2-0 mark in the SEC. They are currently sitting atop the SEC West alongside No. 1-ranked Alabama.
However, Florida leads the overall series 33-32-3 and holds the all-time advantage at home as well, checking in with a record of 16-14-3.
