Seven former Florida football players have advanced to the NFL conference championship games, including a handful of Gators on both AFC teams.

Carlos Dunlap, Kadarius Toney, Tommy Townsend and the Kansas City Chiefs will have a rematch with Zach Carter, Evan McPherson and the Cincinatti Bengals, the defending AFC champs.

Toney had 50 total yards (36 receiving), Dunlap made a pair tackles and Townsend punted four times with a long of 60 and two inside the 20 in the Chiefs’ 27-20 win over Jacksonville and former Gator Jawaan Taylor.

McPherson hit two field goals to remain perfect in his postseason career (16-for-16) and Carter recorded his 28th tackle as a rookie to help the Bengals beat Buffalo 27-10. Bills cornerback Kaiir Elam finished with four tackles.

Chauncey Gardner-Johnson, Fred Johnson and the Philadelphia Eagles are headed the NFC title game against the 49ers after blowing out the New York Giants with a 38-7 win. Gardner-Johnson logged three tackles and his ninth pass breakup of the season.

Jarrad Davis had five tackles for the Giants in the loss. Dante Fowler Jr., Malik Davis and Antonio Callaway did not record any stats in the Cowboys loss to San Francisco, which features no Gators on the roster.
