Several Gators make final On300 for 2025
The 2025 Florida signing class is well-represented in the final On300 rankings as multiple Gators made the list. Legacy recruit Ben Hanks III, a cornerback, was the lone 5-star Florida signee; he rose significantly following a record-setting senior season. Here’s a look at the Gators in the On300.
No. 23 (up from 52) Ben Hanks III, CB, Miami (Fla.) Booker T. Washington: Navy All-American. Set Miami-Dade County record with 13 interceptions in 2024. Hanks was one of 10 new 5-stars.
No. 35 (up from 53): Lagonza Hayward, S, Lyons (Ga.) Toombs Couny: Hayward made a big move after a stellar 2024. He recorded 32 tackles, 8 pass breakups, 2.0 tackles-for-loss and an interception his senior season while leading his team to a state title.
No. 48 (down from 28): Dallas Wilson, WR, Tampa Bay Tech (Fla.): Caught 41 passes for 677 yards and 9 touchdowns. Wilson was picked for the Under Armour All-America Game but was a no show that week do to personal matters. He is still working to enroll this semester.
No. 69 (down from 60): Vernell Brown III, WR, Orlando (Fla.) Jones: Had 90-plus catches for more than 1,400 yards while helping lead his team to the state finals. He also was a standout on defense and special teams and probably will play early in Gainesville. Brown played in the Under Armour All-America Game.
No. 106 (no change): Hylton Stubbs, S, Jacksonville (Fla.) Mandarin: Navy All-American. Had 286 tackles (198 solo), 12 interceptions, 11 pass break-ups, 3.5 sacks and 22.5 tackles for loss in high school. Likely to be a Year-1 factor.
No. 107 (down from 95): Ty Jackson, LB, Loxahatchee (Fla.) Seminole Ridge: Under Armour All-American. Missed most of his senior season with a hamstring injury, but is considered one of the top linebackers in the country.

No. 139 (Up from 156): Jalen Wiggins, DE/Edge, Tallahassee (Fla.) Rickards: Under Armour All-American. Recorded 188 tackles (125 solo), 39 tackles for loss, 31 sacks, 17 QB hurries, 10 pass deflections and 3 fumble recoveries in high school.
No. 141 (no change): Jayden Woods, Edge, Shawnee (Ks.) Mill Valley. Recorded 212 tackles (101 solo), 25.5 tackles for loss, 18.5 sacks, 29 QB hurries, 12 pass break-ups, 7 forced fumbles and an interception during his prep career. Late flip from Penn State could play early in Gainesville.
No. 224 (was not in the On300): Joseph Mbatchou, DL, Grayson (Ga.): Has played only one year of varsity football. Chose Florida over Texas and others. Mbatchou was not a high school starter, but he quickly improved during the season the ceiling is high.
No. 257 (up from 286): Byron Louis, RB, Plantation (Fla.) American Heritage: State champion and Under Armour All-American who averaged more than 7 yards per carry in high school. Recorded 3,162 rushing yards and 44 touchdowns during his prep career.
No. 282 (was not in the On300): Jahari Medlock, OT, Atlanta (Ga.) Drew: Late flip from Cincinnati, but also had an offer from Georgia. Medlock impresses with one of the better tackle bodies in the South.
