Sixty two UF student athletes set to graduate this weekend

The University of Florida is welcoming another graduating class throughout the weekend.

Across Florida Gators athletics, the school will graduate 62 student athletes. Florida football is represented by 11 former and current players who will walk the stage this weekend.

These student athletes are Jack Brady, Elijah Conliffe, Sharrif Floyd, Travis Freeman, Richie Leonard IV, Justin Pelic, Riley Simonds, Jaewon Taylor, Daniel Weldon, Ethan White and Chase Whitfield.

Leonard IV, Pelic and Simonds are each expected to compete for the Gators in the upcoming 2023-24 season.

Shariff Floyd, a former first round NFL draft pick and first-team All-American with the Gators, earned his degree in sociology. He’s currently with the Dallas Cowboys as an assistant defensive line coach.

Daniel Weldon is one of eight UF student athletes graduating this semester with a master/doctorate degree. He will be graduating with his Juris Doctor as a graduate from the UF Levin College of Law.

Chase Whitfield and Justin Pelic are two of 16 UF student athletes graduating with honors.
