SOCIAL SLANT: Fans are buzzing about UF's commitment from Dijon Johnson
Billy Napier and the Gators hit the jackpot moments ago, as Under Armour All-American Dijon Johnson announced his commitment to Florida.
Johnson, a former Ohio State commit from Tampa (Fla.) Wharton, chose the Gators over the Buckeyes, USC and Miami; however, there was not much speculation down the home stretch. Florida is the only school that played host in recent months and did so several times.
Johnson ranks as the No. 10 cornerback and No. 98 prospect regardless of position. That is according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
