SOCIAL SLANT: Gators fans relieved after landing Baylor OL transfer Micah Mazzccua
On Tuesday evening, the Gators landed their sixth commitment from the NCAA Transfer Portal in Baylor offensive lineman Micah Mazzccua.
A redshirt sophomore from Baltimore, Mazzccua started 10 games at left guard for Baylor this past season. He recorded 780 snaps on the season and was one of the top offensive linemen available in the portal. The former Under Armour All-American appeared in nine games in 2021 as well.
This is a major win for Florida, as Mazzccua should become an immediate starter. Auburn and Nebraska were also under consideration and received visits.
