SOCIAL SLANT: Reaction to Bryce Thornton's commitment to Florida
The University of Florida reeled in yet another blue-chip prospect on Thursday, as safety Bryce Thornton went public with his commitment. The Gators edged out Alabama for the 2023 prospect out of Alpharetta (Ga.) Milton.
According to On3’s rankings, the 5-foot-10, 185-pound Thornton is a four-star prospect and the No. 27 safety. The On3 Consensus, however, ranks him as a three-star prospect and the No. 44 safety nationally. Both rankings view Thornton as a top-50 prospect in the state of Georgia.
