SOCIAL SLANT: Reaction to Florida landing Ohio State captain Teradja Mitchell

On Monday evening, the Gators landed their fourth commitment from the NCAA Transfer Portal in Ohio State linebacker Teradja Mitchell.

A fifth-year senior from Virginia Beach, the 6-foot-2, 232-pound Mitchell recorded 63 total tackles, including 31 solo stops, seven tackles for loss and one pass deflection during his time with the Buckeyes.

The former Under Armour All-American is expected to compete for a starting role alongside Shemar James, Derek Wingo and others. He was also a co-captain at Ohio State who should provide Florida with plenty of leadership during his lone season in Gainesville.
