SOCIAL SLANT: Reaction to Sharif Denson's commitment to the Gators
The Gators made a big splash on Monday evening, as four-star cornerback Sharif Denson announced his commitment to Florida.
A product of Jacksonville (Fla.) Bartram Trail, Denson is the No. 23 cornerback and No. 196 prospect overall. That is according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
Texas A&M and Miami were the additional finalists in Denson’s recruitment, while Florida State, South Carolina and Ohio State were involved in recent months as well.
