SOCIAL SLANT: Reaction to UF's portal commitment from DT CamRon Jackson
Another defensive lineman from the NCAA Transfer Portal has joined forces with the University of Florida.
CamRon Jackson, a redshirt sophomore from Memphis, committed to the Gators this evening. He is scheduled to take an official visit next weekend as well; however, he could ultimately scratch those plans and just enroll on campus instead.
A native of Haynesville, Louisiana, the 6-foot-6, 340-pound Jackson recorded 41 tackles, including 19 solo, and one sack this past season. He accumulated 51 tackles (25 solo), 2.5 sacks and one pass deflection during his three years with the Tigers.
