They said I have high potential and a great future ahead of me. They said my best future will come out being a Gator.”
Notable: Medlock flipped to Florida from Cincinnati. One interesting note on Medlock is that while Florida, Cincinnati and Georgia Tech recruited him for the offensive line, Georgia offered him as a defensive lineman.

What the Gators are getting in Jahari Medlock
Scouting report … from Keith Niebuhr of Gators Online.
-On the hoof, this is an impressive-looking player. Although Medlock is listed at 6-foot-5, we think he’s possibly taller than that. He’s got long arms and broad shoulders, too, with big legs and very little bad weight. When you look at Medlock, he has the frame and body type of what you’d expect in an SEC offensive tackle.
-In his senior video, Medlock displays a strong upper body and an excellent leg drive. He plays aggressive and often as though he has a chip on his shoulder. Basically, he’s got a little mean streak to him. He finishes his blocks well, often making sure the defender is into the ground. When he needs to, he can get to the second level. One thing that jumps out is that he uses his reach well and has active hands with a good punch. We’d like to see him get a little quicker off the ball, but overall, we like his potential.
