Top Plays: Watch best moments from Florida’s win over Texas A&M
COLLEGE STATION, Texas — The Gators overcame a halftime deficit Saturday at Texas A&M and pitched a second-half shutout en route to a 41-24 victory, their first SEC road win since 2020.
After 31 combined points in the opening quarter, the Aggies pulled in front during the second and took a 24-21 edge into the break. Florida regained the lead in the third with Anthony Richardson’s touchdown passes to Ja’Quavion Fraziars and Caleb Douglas.
Richardson threw for 201 yards, rushed for 78 and accounted for four total touchdowns. Montrell Johnson led UF with 100 yards rushing and sealed the win with his 5-yard touchdown run in the fourth. Fraziars and Xzavier Henderson both made a team-high four catches and Ricky Pearsall paced the Gators with 65 receiving yards.
Defensively, Trey Dean III lead Florida with seven tackles followed by six apiece from Gervon Dexter Sr. and Antwaun Powell-Ryland Jr., who had a strip sack in his first career start. Princely Umanmielen also forced a turnover for UF.

“You’ve got a group that I think you saw a good look in a lot of people’s eye, right? Relative to what they’ve been through, right? This is a group that just keeps showing up, right? They just keep doing work, right? They haven’t got frustrated or bored with trying to do the right thing, making good decisions when there’s been plenty opportunities to maybe go the other way. So, we’ve got a lot of work left to do. But I think the human element, I go back to it. You know, believe in that part of the game. There’s a lot of good going on in there right now.”
