The Florida Gators had just three players selected in the 2022 NFL Draft. It is the fewest number of selections the Gators have produced since 2012. However, the Gators are one of just three teams (Michigan and USC) to have a player selected in every year of the modern draft era (1967).

Florida is also one of only two schools in the nation to have had at least one first-round selection in nine of the last 10 NFL Drafts (2013-22). The Gators’ 54 first-round picks since 1967 (common draft era) rank fifth in the nation and second in the SEC.

Florida has a long list of players that will now hope to sign free-agent deals and get a chance to make the 53-man roster or a practice roster with one of the 32 NFL franchises.

Gators Online will keep a running list of all the former Gators as they sign undrafted free agent contracts. Stay tuned as this story will continually update throughout the weekend.

Gators that have signed with a team

Malik Davis signed an undrafted free agent contract with the Dallas Cowboys. Davis joins a Cowboys locker room that is heavily invested in Ezekiel Elliott. The Cowboys have four running backs signed to the roster currently. Davis will need to make an impact on special teams if he wants to make the roster.

Jeremiah Moon signed an undrafted free agent deal with the Baltimore Ravens. Moon was one of the Gators that was hoping to hear his name called this weekend. By the time the seventh round rolled around, it was better for Moon to go undrafted. Rather than being taken by a team who wouldn’t value a seventh-round pick with a long injury history, Moon was able to look at rosters and negotiate a deal with a team that gives him a chance to make the roster. Moon believes that team to be the Ravens, who have four EDGE rushers.

Tyrone Truesdell signed an undrafted free agent deal with the New York Giants. Truesdell spent just one season with the Gators. The graduate transfer from Auburn had a small impact for the Gators. He tallied just 12 tackles in 13 games played. Truesdell also appeared to injure himself while running his 40 at Florida’s pro day.

Jean Delance signed an undrafted free agent deal with the Chicago Bears. Delance came under fire for his play in 2020 but was a solid right tackle for the Gators in 2021.

Antonio Valentino signed an undrafted free agent deal with the New York Giants. Valentino spent just one season with the Gators but was an instant starter and impact player for the Gators.
