Update on Florida Gators DB Jaydon Hill’s absence in fall camp
GAINESVILLE, Fla. — The Florida Gators will be without one of their top defensive backs during the first scrimmage on Thursday. Redshirt junior DB Jaydon Hill will not practice for the second straight day, Gators Online has learned.
Hill missed Wednesday’s practice and will not scrimmage on Thursday due to an undisclosed illness. He moved to nickel this year and has been competing with senior Jaddarius Perkins for the starting job in fall camp.
“Pretty good,” Hill said at the start of camp regarding his position change. “I’ve been actually doing pretty good. I like it a lot. I plan on making a lot of plays there this fall.”
