WATCH: Gators welcome early enrollees to campus for move-in day

Sunday marked move-in day for the majority of Florida’s 2023 class. Almost 20 mid-year enrollees reported to UF for the start of the Spring semester.
The first day of classes was Monday.
“I’m really excited to start this journey. It feels great having that bond with the whole team,” freshman safety Bryce Thornton said in the video below. “I’m just excited because I feel like it’s a brotherhood and we’re starting off fresh, especially with the freshman class.”
The Gators are expected to welcome most of their 20 early signees from the 2023 class to campus this week. They join the team for the start of offseason workouts and will go through spring practice.
“It feels great, awesome,” receiver Andy Jean said. “I’m ready to turn up. Oh yeah, I can’t wait. We here now.”
Safety Jordan Castell added, “I’m ready, man. I’m ready to work! Let’s do it!”
In addition to the freshmen, Florida will also have a handful of transfers enrolling this week. Former Memphis defensive tackle Cam’Ron Jackson moved in on Sunday.

“It’s a brotherhood when you come here,” Jackson said. “It ain’t no, ‘He’s a senior, he’s a freshman.’ We’re all tight. So, that’s a good feeling.”
