Where Gators basketball commits landed in updated On3 rankings
As of Wednesday, Todd Golden‘s 2025 recruiting class at Florida ranks seventh nationally and third in the SEC. It features just two prospects as well, making it even more impressive.
Those future Florida Gators are shooting guard CJ Ingram of Montverde (Fla.) Academy and small forward Alex Lloyd of Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) Westminister Christian.
Ingram, a legacy recruit and the son of former Gators tight end Cornelius Ingram, is a native of Hawthorne who is just days removed from transitioning to powerhouse Montverde Academy. He was also a talented football player who was trending toward Billy Napier‘s program before solely focusing on hoops. His commitment to UF was made official on Aug. 12.
Back in April, it was Lloyd who kicked off the Gators’ recruiting class with a big verbal commitment. Additional finalists at the time included Florida State, Miami, St. John’s and Dayton. He is listed as a small forward but can also play both guard spots at nearly 6-foot-3, 165 pounds. His versatility gives Golden’s staff plenty of options for the future.
