2026 4-Star ATH Darryon Williams Commits to FSU
FSU has continued an early build-up of its 2026 class as the Seminoles landed their third commitment of 2026 in four-star athlete Darryon Williams.
According to On3, Williams is one of the top recruits in the ’26 class; He is the 44th-best player overall, the third-best athlete, and the fifth-best player in Florida.
The top-100 player made his pledge to FSU coming off a visit to the Seminoles’ first spring scrimmage a few weeks ago. When he spoke to Warchant after the visit, it was clear that Williams’ recruitment was trending in Florida State’s direction.
“I gotta be honest, I’m not chasing a bunch of offers or playing games with my recruiting,” Williams said. “I’m going where I feel wanted, and FSU made me feel that way.”
While he is an athlete that plays both receiver and defensive back for his high school, it is clear that the Seminoles are recruiting Williams at receiver. The main indicator? An extensive meeting with position coach Ron Dugans on his last visit.

“I feel like I really connected with coach Dugans,” Williams said. “He shared is personal story with me and that meant a lot.”
With Williams’ commitment, FSU now has the number one ranked recruiting class for 2026. This includes two of the three commits being in the top 100.
