Recruiting is back in full force now that the NCAA dead period ended earlier this week, and FSU’s football staff is lining up a number of visits.

While some top recruits have already started visiting college campuses to watch spring practice, most Florida State targets will wait until the Seminoles open their spring practice on March 19.

South Florida four-star wide receiver Brandon Bennett is included in that bunch.

The American Heritage standout tells Warchant he will be at FSU for Legacy Weekend on March 22. He adds to what will be an impressive list, already including fast-rising four-star QB Bowe Bentley from Celina, Texas.

According to the On3 Industry Ranking, Bennett is the 218th-ranked recruit in the 2026 class, as well as the 36th-best receiver in the country.

The 6-foot, 165-pounder also has an official visit locked in with FSU for June 6.

Bennett told Warchant that he also has a visit to Miami planned this spring, and he is close to getting a date locked in with the Florida Gators.

Georgia could also be a likely visit spot, as Bennett was there for a Junior Day in early February.
