Neither did much against the Seminoles the first time; Lampkin finished with just four points on 2-of-3 shooting with five rebounds, and Starling scored 12 points while hitting 5 of 16 shots from the field.
FSU will look for another big performance from junior center Malique Ewin, who was dominant on Saturday with 26 points and 8 rebounds in a victory against SMU. It was his first game back from an injury that sidelined him for two games. Senior guard Jamir Watkins added 20 points and 8 rebounds in that win.
The winner of tonight’s game against Syracuse will play Wednesday night at 9:30 against SMU.
