After the Hot Board: Sizing up FSU football recruiting commitments and biggest needs

With only about three months remaining before the early signing period, Florida State currently has the nation’s No. 20-ranked recruiting class, and the Seminoles are tied for the fewest number of commitments of any school in the top 20. So they have plenty of room to grow.

FSU currently has 14 commitments, including seven four-stars and seven three-stars, and we expect the class to finish with more than 20 signees but less than 25.

With that in mind, our Michael Langston has broken down where FSU stands at each position on offense and defense — evaluating all of the current commitments and the top prospects still on the board — in his new feature, “After the Hot Board.”
