All-22 Film Breakdown: What FSU fans can expect from Gus Malzahn offense (Part 2)
To help Florida State football fans get a feel for what to expect from the Seminoles’ offense under new coordinator Gus Malzahn, Warchant lead football analyst Dominic Robinson is using coaches’ All-22 film to provide some insights.
In the first installment of this series, Robinson looked back at Malzahn’s time at Auburn to explore some of the coach’s tendencies and philosophies as a play-caller.
In this latest installment, Robinson takes a closer look at how Malzahn gets the quarterback running game going, which will be extremely important with new quarterback Tommy Castellaos behind center. He also examines how Malzahn uses tempo, unique formations and a willingness to break tendencies to “create chaos” for opposing defenses before the snap.
