Catching up with Tribe23: LB Dylan Brown-Turner preparing to arrive at Florida State
Dylan Brown-Turner was the last signee for Florida State’s 2023 football signing class and the only one in the February signing period.
The 6-foot-2, 208-pound linebacker was somewhat of a late bloomer in high school, having missed most of his junior year with an injury. But as a senior, he racked up 120 tackles, an interception, sack and forced fumble on the way to leading South Oak Cliff High School to a Texas state championship.
Along with signing late, the three-star linebacker did not enroll early at Florida State due to his final track season at South Oak Cliff.
With his senior year of high school coming to a close soon, Warchant had the chance to chat with Brown-Turner on Friday to catch up on how things have been going and his goals for 2023 at Florida State.

As for his role on the team, the former University of North Texas commit said he expects to be used like Kalen DeLoach in the future due to his athleticism and speed.
He ran the 4×200-meter relay, the 100 meters and the 200 meters in high school.
In previous interviews with Warchant, the three-star prospect has said the coaching staff also compared him to Shyheim Brown.
