While FSU football fans won’t get to sit inside Doak Campbell Stadium again until the Seminoles open the 2025 season on Aug. 30 against Alabama, they can keep track of the facility’s renovations thanks to a pair of stationary EarthCam feeds.

Those images, which can be found on the Seminole Boosters website, looked a lot different than usual late Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning.

With Winter Storm Enzo blanketing North Florida and most of the Southeast with a rare heavy snowfall, Doak Campbell Stadium started looking more like the frozen tundra of Lambeau Field than one of college football’s iconic football venues.

FSU’s home stadium is in the midst of a massive reconstruction project that is scheduled to be completed for the season opener against the Crimson Tide. When it’s completed, the stadium will feature a wide variety of different seating options and more modern amenities.

Here is a look at a series of EarthCam photographs showing the snow beginning to arrive Tuesday evening and then blanketing the stadium by midnight.

Before the storm arrives Tuesday afternoon:

A light dusting of snow arrives around 6 p.m.

The dusting continues as nightfall arrives.

Ice begins to form on the camera as snow starts to accumulate on FSU’s field.

Most of the playing surface is covered with snow by 9:30 p.m.

After midnight, the entire stadium is blanketed by snow.
