Elite Visitor: Florida State expected to host former Alabama DB Earl Little Jr. today
The transfer portal news started cranking up early Thursday morning, as Warchant reported on our Premium Recruiting Board that Florida State was going to get a visit from high-profile defensive back transfer Earl Little Jr.
On3’s Pete Nakos then reported that Little is now expected to arrive on campus as soon as this afternoon.
Little was a four-star recruit in the class of 2022 and was heavily recruited by Florida State out of high school. The Seminoles were even the perceived runner-up in his recruitment when he ultimately chose the Crimson Tide.
According to On3, the South Florida native was a top-100 player nationally as well as the No. 12 cornerback in the country and No. 12 prospect in the state of Florida
Little played in high school under current Florida State defensive backs coach Patrick Surtain Sr. at national power American Heritage near Fort Lauderdale. If Little picks the Seminoles the second time around, he would join his former high school teammate, Marvin Jones Jr, who committed to Florida State out of the portal from Georgia in mid-December.
