Flip Concerns? Florida State fighting off late challengers for top commits
After landing several elite recruits in the summer and fall, the Florida State football team has the No. 3-ranked recruiting haul for the Class of 2024.
Included in that group are two five-star recruits and 13 four-stars, according to the On3 Industry Ranking. It’s an accumulation of talent that trails only Georgia and Ohio State nationally.
But as expected, Florida State enters the home stretch of this recruiting cycle fighting desperately to retain several of those elite prospects.
Five-star safety KJ Bolden is being courted heavily by Auburn and Georgia and has visited with coaches from both schools recently.
Five-star defensive lineman Armondo Blount, a Miami product, is still be chased by the hometown Hurricanes.

And four-star cornerback Charles Lester is being pursued by another high-profile program.
