Florida State All-ACC safety Jammie Robinson announces he's leaving for NFL

After leading Florida State in tackles each of the past two seasons, safety Jammie Robinson announced late Saturday night he is heading to the NFL.
Robinson ends his collegiate career after four impressive seasons with FSU and South Carolina.
An all-conference defensive back in each of his two years at FSU, Robinson led the ‘Noles in tackles during the 2021 and 2022 seasons. He announced his decision at midnight on New Year’s Eve.
While helping to guide FSU to a 10-3 record this season, Robinson registered 99 total tackles, with five for a loss and one interception. The FSU pass defense, led by the talented safety out of Cordele, Ga., ranked No. 1 in the ACC and near the top of the NCAA all season long.

During his redshirt sophomore season in 2021, Robinson picked off four passes, forced two fumbles, while racking up 84 tackles and seven for a loss.
Robinson also starred for South Carolina in his first two seasons, finishing with 73 total tackles in 2020 and 62 total stops as a true freshman in 2019. He has over 300 career tackles and seven career interceptions in college.
