Double Dip! FSU Football lands commitment from twin 2025 EDGE rushers, Darryll and Mandrell Desir
Florida State gained not one, but two commitments Sunday morning in 2025 three-star edge rushers Darryll and Mandrell Desir.
This commitment comes just 24 hours after the twins decommitted from UCF and set up an official visit with Florida State for the Charleston Southern game the weekend of November 23.
According to On3, Darryll Desir (6-foot-4, 220 pounds) is the higher-ranked prospect out of the South Florida duo. He is a top-50 edge rusher in the class, and a top-600 prospect according to the industry rankings.
Mandrell Desir (6-foot-3, 210 pounds) is a top-70 prospect at his position.
This commitment did come as a surprise as both of the Miami Norland recruits had not visited Florida State since March, when they originally got the offer from the ‘Noles.
“Have a great relationship with the staff,” Darryll Desir told Warchant after the FSU offer. “Talk to them often. They show me love. … Really loved the environment.”
