Florida State junior defensive tackle Joshua Farmer, who tied for the team high in sacks and finished second in tackles for loss this season, announced Thursday he is declaring for the 2025 NFL Draft.

Farmer was a two-year starter and key contributor to the Florida State defensive line rotation each of the past three seasons. He earned second-team All-ACC honors in 2023 and Honorable Mention All-ACC in 2024.

The former Gadsden County High standout was a three-star recruit but developed into one of the top defensive tackles in the conference. He finished this past season with 32 tackles, eight tackles for loss and four sacks.

In 2023, he recorded 32 tackles with seven for loss and five sacks.

He and fellow redshirt junior defensive tackle Darrell Jackson both participated in Senior Day festivities this past Saturday. Jackson has yet to announce his future plans.
