The release of a team’s depth chart is, typically, a huge talking point before the first game of the season and in the event of injuries. But these aren’t typical times at Florida State.

In the wake of a 1-4 start to the 2024 season, head coach Mike Norvell signed off on significant changes to the Seminoles’ depth chart ahead of a rivalry tilt with Clemson on Saturday night (7 p.m. ET, ESPN). The update was released Monday morning ahead of Norvell’s weekly press conference.

The changes begin at quarterback. Veteran starter DJ Uiagalelei has his name in bold lettering, as usual. But so does Brock Glenn. Glenn has an “or” designation to his left, meaning either player could start against the Tigers.

Injury could be part of the reason for the quarterback designations — Uiagalelei suffered a blow to his throwing hand on Saturday — but Norvell did say that a change was coming either way in the second half of a 42-16 loss to SMU.
