NEW COMMITMENT! 4-Star WR CJ Wiley picks Florida State over heavy favorite UGA
Florida State landed its first wide receiver in the 2025 class as four-star CJ Wiley made a verbal pledge to the Seminoles over LSU and Georgia.
According to On3, the 6-foot-3, 210 pound route-runner is a top 50 player in the 2025 class, as well as the No. 6 overall player in the state of Georgia.
This was a tough battle for the Seminoles, and a big win, as Florida State overcame LSU — Wiley is Tiger legacy prospect — and the heavy favorite: The in-state Georgia Bulldogs. At the time of his commitment, the Bulldogs held better than an 80-percent advantage for Wiley in the On3 Recruiting Prediction machine.
FSU did get the last word in Wiley’s recruitment when he was on campus this past weekend. Whatever message the Florida State staff delivered, it was clearly enough to push Wiley to Tallahassee.

Wiley told reporters “I feel pretty good” about the Seminoles as he exited campus on Sunday.
Florida State now has six commitments in the 2025 class.
